I have been collecting Star Wars autographs since 1998.  Not all of my signatures are on Star Wars memorabilia.  For example, when I met Warwick Davis at a comic convention in New York City, I had him sign a Willow photograph.  I also have publicity photos of Sir Alec Guinness and Christopher Lee from the 1970s, and a Natalie Portman signed The Diary of Anne Frank theater poster from her performance on Broadway back in 1998.  My current wish list includes Peter Cushing, Terence Stamp and John Williams.  I am interested in knowing about the collections and wish lists of other members.

Post it anyway if you want to Bradford.  We already have Tony Scott as part of the discussion.  There is also the close relationship between Francis Ford Coppola and George Lucas to consider if we really needed to justify it.

I am in no way an expert on Marlon Brando autographs but I will say that the listing has quite a few red flags attached to it Bradford.  Let's wait to hear what others have to say.

I'm no expert in Brando but I am with Reeve and his Reeves are good. Pete didn't like it either

The whole batch of stuff the seller is offering is TTM material.

Brando never signed TTM, he barely signed in-person.

Documents, checks and contracts are the way to go with Marlon.

I do really like the album page on ebay with the Godfather grouping, but $7k is just out of my range for Brando.

None of those are exemplars are they? Only secretarials and fakes. Were you comparing those autos to the one listed on eBay?

I suspected that the one that you were inquiring about was at best a secretarial signature.  I have referred to that website in the past for examples of Marlon Brando secretarial signatures.

Steve Cyrkin is the expert in Brando on this site and I haven't heard back from him
Mike, this piece is getting to be a high priced secretarial isn't it?

Sad how that is playing out. Someone will pay thru the nose for a fake.

That 8x10 actually signed by Brando would be at $3000 minimum.

You beat me to a reply Pete.  I was thinking the same exact thing.  I am curious to see if the item sells for $1000 or more.  I would not feel comfortable purchasing it due to the simple fact that it appears to have been signed with a black Sharpie last week.

Here is a link to an authentic Marlon Brando autograph that is being sold by a reputable dealer.  I have seen it in person hanging on the gallery wall.  It is incredible.  I am not saying that reputable dealers do not make mistakes.  I have actually seen one in particular mistakenly offer a Marlon Brando secretarial signature for sale.
