I'd say this is impossible to tell. Only way to know for sure is if it was signed at a signing and came with documentation from a company like Steiner/Upper Deck/Tri-Star and not a third party company.

Agreed. Could be a very late in life authentic example but I have never seen one that matches this. Definitely not worthy of most collectors even if authentic. Stan is still pretty affordable for a nice example so no reason to collect an ugly one even if it is authentic which I doubt.

i agree i have seen better ones. i am also asking if anyone knows about the stan the man  cerificates because i have saw them with some of the other auto balls and with other auto items as well.

i have a postcard sent ttm from stan the man inc. signed with his pic also on the back all his stats.i just wrote him a fan letter and recieved it back in 2 months back in 2010

With so many beautiful Stan Musial sigs out there, why would you give this one a second look?

i was just looking the starting price was really low that was all and partially was wanting to know if it was authentic because of the stan the man certificate

Stan the Man certificates if original are good. I think Stan may have actually signed the certificates as well. I know he did for a while but he may have eventually gone to a pre-printed one. You can buy a nice legible authentic one for $75 or so. I would't want this one even if authentic at a bargain price.

what do you mean if original?

Oh I think he meant an original cert not a copy...

Exactly.

Christopher hit it on the head. There are great examples out there everyday reasonably priced. Why would anyone even consider this?
Yes doesn't look much like examples I'm seeing. Not unless its one of those rare ocations where its real but gets rejected because its obscure. Any ways yeah id get another example and pass on it for sure! It's too questionable.
