It's our first trip since 1985 - hopefully with the same result!

I am rooting for the Royals as well. I hate the Cardinals more than anything in the entire world, and the Giants are right behind them.

GO BLUE

Thanks, Ryan. That's right - BLUE is my favorite color too!

Ugh the Royals! Ahh just kidding,I hope the Cards play em to make it a series worth watching. My Phillies suck anyway. Good luck!

Thanks, Ian. I know most locals would probably like to play the Cardinals for another I-70 World Series. Not sure that's going to happen since they're down 3-1. But hey, several teams have come back from down 3-1. And, of course, most remember the Red Sox epic comeback from down 3-0 against the Yankees in 2004. It's still possible.

Anyway, this is crazy, because I really wasn't sure if the Royals would ever even make the playoffs again. But these guys kept fighting all year, and we knew this time we had a chance. And now...FINALLY!!
James,
Are you going to any of the WS games?

Robin
No, unfortunately. But I do get to babysit my 8yo and 10yo great nephews when my niece and her husband go to games 1&2! (I'm only 9 years older than my niece. So I'm not THAT old!). But the boys are a lot of fun, and they LOVE the Royals. They're really excited about the World Series. I told the I've been waiting 29 years for this. So they told me they've been waiting their entire lives!

Please do not bring up the 2004 World Series again.

2004?  Reverse the Curse!

How so?  The Boston Red Sox won last year.  We have not made it to the playoffs in two years.  At least I am not a New York Jets fan.  That would be too much to handle.  What a disaster that organization is.

Ryan don't hate bro.

Poor Cardinals...

*plays world's smallest violin*

LOL.
