Any thoughts in this Chris Nolan that I picked up? Seems to closely resemble other Chris Nolan autos that have passed TPA opinions, but his signature is so simple that it seems like it would be easy to fake:

It does not appear to be typical of recent Christopher Nolan autographs.

It appears to be rather similar to most ebay TPA authenticated stuff; it is an extraordinarily simple signature. I would check out the stuff that eBay has on him, especially stuff that PSA or JSA has looked at. Accross the board, it appears to be a minimalist autograph

The slant concerns me.  The loop on the "N" concerns me as well.  It is atypical.

This is from inception, so the photo could (not saying it is) be 5 years old. I personally find Nolan's signature way too simple. I wonder how any service authenticates him with confidence.

The seller is reputable and that's probably how it got passed, but on the signature alone I would not want it in my collection. It's probably real, but a very poor example that you'll have trouble convincing others of.

I'm not in this for the resale business. The Nolan made me nervous, though there are a small amount of examples that do have that atypical loop in there. The seller seemed reputable, and not on the basis of his feedback. His autos look good around. To be honest I don't like any of Nolan's signatures. Too simple.

The seller has a good reputation. But, still, the signature is making you nervous for a reason. It simply does not resemble what his signature usually looks like. Autograph World was selling perfect textbook Nolans for $30 last week. Are you sure you want to drop that much cash on an autograph that simply does not compare to exemplars? I'm not in the resale business either, but it's important to me that the examples I collect are solid examples of signatures. Sometimes people pop off a crap signature that is difficult even for reputable sellers to convince others of authenticity... but those items should be priced accordingly in my opinion. Without the seller name right there I would have told you absolutely not on this one.
