I don't remember the story on "Stacks of Plaques" COA, I think they were legit at one point, but then people started copying their COA similar to Scoreboard. There are some on here familiar with Ali so I would definitely wait to hear from them on whether or not the signature is even authentic...
Personally, I would never trade an Upper Deck signed Jordan jersey for this, even if authentic. Perhaps it is just the photo quality, but the signature looks "sunk in" to the point of where in 20 years it may just be a little fuzzy scribble.
Can't tell from the picture, but Stacks of Plaques was a good source of Ali items and they included a "proof" picture with every order I believe. I have never seen an Ali from Stacks of Plaques with an inscription/drawing though.
Never heard of them. Only witness COAs I would have *some* trust in are ones that are notarized such as those HOF sheets.
I don't know what "unique shadow box" you are talking about but if it is a display box you are referring to you can get those at Michaels for $20. The ring insignia just looks like scribbled lips, I don't see anyone spending $800 for an item bleeding this bad. If you look at recent sales there are several Ali "signed" gloves that have sold for $200-$400.
If you want to trade a no doubt 100% authentic Michael Jordan autographed jersey with a highly respected Upper Deck COA for a crappy lookin Ali glove that won't be legible in 10 years, accompanied with a couple printed "COAs" and a worthless proof photo then go for it.
