Hi everyone!

Would appreciate your help with this Walt Disney autograph, said to been signed in the early 60s. Do you think it´s real or fake?

And if anyone knows what approx would be a fair price to pay for an item like this, that info would be appreciated also!

Thanks for helping!

I would pay for a quick opinion from Phil Sears. I believe it is $35, but well worth it as he is by far the go to guy for Disney autographs.

IMO it looks very strange  ineed, espec the later part of the sig.  A price for it , if genuine should be at least $1,600 , - anything less for a genuine one would be highly suspect in my opinion. where did it come from ?

Thanks Nick and Michelle for your help and advice! Hopefully some other members will also help out!

The person offering this claims that he/she worked as a purser on SAS flights in the 60:s and got this in-person...
Walt's autograph was very sloppy compared to his earlier styles in the 60's as he was very sick. So it does have a chance to be real. Like I said, I would pay for Phil Sears's opinion on this. It's almost mandatory when purchasing a Walt Disney autograph.

Let us know what he says if you do end up asking :).

I agree. Ask Phil to take a look. It's worth a few bucks to find out if you like the piece and the price.

Will let you know, if I do that! Thanks!
Jan there's a Walt Disney down in the picture section of the forum.

Thanks Paul!

That guy was asking to sell but he doesn't have a coa with his autographs. Probably look into it Jan if your after a Disney.

I got an answer from Phil Sears and he said this is genuine.

It sold for approx $900 (the winners max bid of course unknown, so it would have taken more for me to win the auction) and that was unfortunally to much for me. I know that´s a fair price for a genuine Walt Disney, but I were looking to resell and instead buy music autographs (my main interest) and that´s not enough "meat on the bone" left for me at that price...

Thanks once again for your help!
