I think it is a lovely item. Nice clear signatures on an original Promo card. I consider it to be OK.

The L to the E in Lennon looks slow but having those 3 letters of authenticity cant really be beat.  Good luck Paul!

I don't know what the price is, but I think these are superb, bold examples of 1963 Beatles autographs. For pricing, compare them to other 1963-65 autographs, when the Beatles signed more often. They're not worth as much as 1966 and later autographs. They're much rarer.

Correctly priced, you can't go wrong with these!

Thanks for all the input guys.ill keep you posted when I finalize the purchase.ow much do you guys think it's worth?
Another explanation for the bold looking signatures may be that these signatures were reinked recently by one of several well known autograph restorers. I have seen this done with many Beatles signatures. Especially those that have faded or were originally done in pencil and reinked to looked like ballpoint pen. The person I know that can do this can even put the skip marks in the ink to simulate pen skipping and pen pressure. All with a #1 fine paintbrush. And these have even passed Caiazzo and PSA. Pretty incredible to see the results.
Can you post some picture of them.i would really love to see the results.

I `d love to see comparisons... This seems like a night mare.

I've seen one set of Beatles autographs that were reined only about 10 to 15 percent of the signatures were touched up. Rings signature sometimes has a lot of feathering.
This would make a great new thread. I don't believe it effects the value but I need to learn more.

oh yes - it effects the value as parts are not handsigned by the Beatles anymore... And i doubt several sellers tell the truths when offering such item.

And the experts who just authenticate by looking at the scan have no chance to see it either... I have seen a lot of awfull things in the past about that business.

As time progresses and the technic gets better and better there will be a time when you cant compare a print from a handwriting... Then we are finished here.

I' don't see a problem with getting 10 or 15 percent touched up but going over a 100 percent of the signatures is not on.

I agree 100% with Thorsten  it would effect the value, and in my case I would have 0 interest in any signature that someone else wrote over.  I am a purest in this regard I want the persons signature no matter how light.  Restoration is a very tricky thing, and when restoration becomes recreating something that is no longer original what good is it.    I have a few light signatures but I would never dream of having some "expert" go over it to make it "better."  I may be a dying breed in having more interest in the historical integrity of an autograph than its beauty.  Perhaps someday some restoration expert can fix that damn crack in the Liberty Bell and make it good as new.
