Many movie and television stars appeared as guest stars (though they were never referred to as such on the show) on TAGS.  Among the stars that were on the show were Buddy Ebsen, Charlie Ruggles, Edgar Buchanan, Everett Sloane, Alan Hale, Jr., Bob Denver, John Dehner, Jack Albertson, Leon Ames, and many others who appeared as "guest stars" on an episode of TAGS.  Elsewhere, I think I have my Jack Nicholson autograph in the comment section.  I am not including him here because he was in two episodes.

Tom Tully was a great character actor in westerns, crime dramas, and comedy.  He played Dick Van Dyke's father twice on The Dick Van Dyke Show.  He appeared as Mayberry's milkman Walt Simpson in the TAGS episode "Goodbye, Dolly."

TOM TULLY (1908-1982) a veteran character actor he appeared in such films as The Caine Mutiny and Charley Varrick.   He played Dick Van Dyke's father "Sam Petrie" on the The Dick Van Dyke Show.  This is him as Walt Simpson the milkman in the TAGS episode "Goodbye Dolly."

John Qualen was a very busy character actor who appeared in westerns, dramas and comedies over the years.  He played "The Jinx" in a very funny episode of The Andy Griffith Show.   His autograph is not common and he had two distinct autographs his earlier autograph was almost a block letter autograph while in later years he adopted a more generic script.   This is an example of a later autograph from the 1980s signed in purple felt tip.

This an example of his early signature often found on photographs.  This one is early 1940s.

JOHN QUALAN in his later years he had the 11x14 Masquers Club "Roll Call" of his credits printed up to send to fans.  These show up from time to time.

HUGH MARLOWE (1911-1987) is perhaps best known for his work in Sci-Fi movies such as The Day the Earth Stood Still and Earth vs. the Flying Saucers.  He was also in The Birdman of Alcatraz, Meet Me in St. Louis, All About Eve and Mr. Belvedere Rings the Bell.  He appeared in the TAGS episode "Mayberry on Record" in 1961 playing Mr. Maxwell who wants to get people to invest in a record deal.  This is an album page signed in red:

J. EDWARD MCKINLEY (1917-2004) was a fine character actor that appeared on scores of movies and television shows.  He usually played a politician or businessman.  Curiously he played "Mayor Handley" in one of the two episodes of The Munsters and was "Governor Handley" in an episode of TAGS!   He also played the mayor in the Don Knotts movie The Ghost and Mr. Chicken.  McKinley was in 10 episodes of Bewitched and did three of Little House on Prairie.  He also appeared with Elizabeth Montgomery in The Legend of Lizzie Borden.  He appeared in the TAGS episode entitled "The Cannon" in 1965.   This is an inscribed TTM index card probably from the 1970s or 80s it has his address label pasted on the back.  He is an uncommon autograph.

J. EDWARD MCKINLEY from the movie Advise and Consent with Henry Fonda.  He was also in several westerns such as Gunsmoke and Bonanza.  He is very recognizable in anything he did.

MARK MILLER (1925-       ) appeared in The Twilight Zone, Gunsmoke, Alfred Hitchcock Presents and The Andy Griffith Show.  He was in episode 34 of TAGS "Barney's Replacement."

I actually made these photos for Mark several years ago.
