Steve asked me to start a new thread since some were having a lot of issues with regards to whether or not the through the mail autographs of Jerry Lee Lewis are real or not.  I will post some examples of what we have been getting recently and some know in person examples.   These TTM signatures are not cheap.  You have to pay $50 for them to his box office box.  The question is are they real or not.  Roger has said that he has never seen Mr. Lewis sign this way and it looks to perfect - like a woman's signature.

Please post your thoughts here and examples.

thanks

Mark

I never questioned the signature on your album. I believe that the only reason that it was accepted as authentic is because of the time period in which it was received. If that signature had been received sans inscription prior to JLL being "called out", I suspect that it too would have been deemed secretarial.

I don't think JLL inscribed either this one or the one below holdered by PSA/DNA, but I think that his signature on the one holding the knife is likely genuine.

I don't think they were even inscribed by the same person. Compare them, especially "Ronny" to "Randy." No way that the same person wrote those names.

This inscription does not look like it was signed by Jerry Lee. In my opinion, I don't like the autograph itself either.

Ballroom,

I admire your passion in your position here, even under overwhelming opposition. I post this video in your honor:

Thanks. i assume that you guys are represented by the black knight? Shouldn't there be something covering the eye slot?

Ballroom,

That reply is why I like you so much.

:)

To quote Yogi, its like Deja Vu all over again.  The JLL saga continues!

its like a case of herpes, you never know what its coming back

I got in touch with J.W. Whitten and mentioned the accusations regarding the TTM signatures and signed copies of “Jerry Lee Lewis: His Own Story.” He stated that he does not sign for Jerry Lee Lewis, and that “it’s all rubbish.” He said that he doesn’t respond about BS such as this, but he made an exception and allowed me to pass this along to you. Thanks, Mr. Whitten!

Wow! And since JLL's wife swears that Jerry signs all his autographs himself, I guess we've been wrong all along!

When the PIX11 story came out, someone claimed that the fact that he didn’t participate showed a consciousness of guilt. Now that he has denied having signed the books, this is what he gets.
