This was supposed to have been thrown out of a Mumbai hotel window by  Monsieur Jackson. It sold   for a hugh amount of money but I was always  curious about it  and the whole story so I thought I would ask the M J purists for their opinion . gracias

All the Bush signed MJ items sold at Juliens went for a mint and they were all forged as well.  In fact millions of dollars worth, and all by someone who was close friends with Jackson for YEARS.  Seems to be a habit that most who knew him have done the same.   Having a forger who didn't even know him turn a huge buck is nothing.   Not to downplay what your saying though.

I know precisely what you mean wascher ; - however it does seem that common sense also went out of the window (no pun intended) when people bid on  this particular pillow case.  I mean does it look like an item that has been thrown out of a hotel window in India and trampled on and fought over by millions of eager M J fans  trying to keep it? !

People seem to be so content with just putting blind faith into autographs without doing research. I feel like that is half the fun of the hobby. Like being a mini dectective. Is it really that hard to do some research and learn who the good dealers are? Then take side by sides of many real Jackson autos and look it over and study it. This one is pretty obviously bad with just a small amount fo research.

People can make up all kinds of stories about where an item came from. But the signature itself very rarely lies. Its not as easy as one thinks to forge a complex signature such as this. Getting the speed down and all that.

I got a clipped Jackson signature from the early 80's for about $400. I am 99% certain its real. No need to spend huge amounts of money and fall for "deals" that are really scams.

I think part of the problem with this particular pillow case is that it was being sold by a very reputable uction house in England so people thought it would be genuine.   However, they also recently sold a  number of signed M J items of clothing for small amounts of money compared to the sum achieved by the orange pillow case

Are these Michael Jackson autograph real or fake
