It looks like the dedication was cut off? I'm not sure if that was the best idea considering that it overlapped with the inscription. Also, there appears to be some surface damage that affects the signature. Otherwise, I think it's pretty nice.

Thanks for your input Mark.i agree, leaving the inscription would have been fine.although I think it looks fine even with the intersecting loop from the inscription.im on the fence with it.i think it is one of the nicer Jimi Hendrix sigs also.just my opinion.
Depends a bit on the price I guess :)

I have a question on these PSA encapsulated cuts - is that plastic these signatures are lodged between?  if so, is that really a good idea for preservation?

That's something that has long been a subject of debate....on one hand, the two pieces of the slab are "sonically sealed" together, so that prevents possible damage from outside contaminants. It has come to light only recently that the new slabs PSA is using ARE NOT UV light resistant, which shocked many people- part of their early selling points was that they were indeed UV resistant. Depending upon what you are having slabbed, they utilize a "holder" within the slab to keep the object in place, which is acid/PVC free. For some common sized items they have actual correct size slabs that hold the object itself in place(such as some baseball cards). The slab itself is also supposedly PVC free.

I've seen more issues with the validity of PSA grading than issues with the slabs themselves...
