Previously-discussed vintage Michael Jackson photo sells for $155

A Michael Jackson signed photo with a vintage signature has sold at eBay auction after 9 bids for $155. Here is a link to the auction:

This photo was pictured in a couple of recent threads on AML regarding vintage MJ signatures. Clearly, authentic MJ signed photos sell for much more than $155. I am actually certain that this photo and autograph were either produced with a nice autopen machine or with a high-tech printer that can often make fake items look real.

The seller is "sizzlindealsllc" base in Florida. This seller is selling lots and lots of fake copies or autopens as the real thing. But just to throw you off, the seller has mixed in a bunch watches that he has for sale as well. But he has a nice inventory of fake autographs for sale. I mean...do you really think you're going to get a real Madonna signed photo for $50?

So you have to be careful. Some vintage MJs are real, and others are fake.

I think so, James. There are a lot of vintage MJ autographs recently. The new forgers are coming to the market now. I also found a lot of MJ autographs from Memorabilia Vault selling at cheap price but all of them are looking good in my opinion. Buying MJ autographs will be more & more dangerous in this near future.

That's very true, Kit. I remember the Memorabilia Vault. But I can't recall anything about their inventory. I will have to take a look. But this sizzlindealsllc is selling nothing but fakes. I'm pretty sure.

Memorabilia Vault was selling a slew of forged MJ drawings that were done by a guy named Jason Makris up in Canada.  There is a large thread titled something like MJ historical drawings where the first 75% of that discussion is Jason's items.  MV has had some authentic items as well, but they know that Jason is bad news and they are still doing business with him at this time which tells me all I need to know about the dealer/auctionhouse.  They've also sold Erick McKay forgeries as well.

Good call, wascher. Thanks. I couldn't remember the specifics on them.
