Ringo Beatles star to the later star?

What year did Ringo star change his signature from the vintage Beatles star under his name to the star at the end of his name?

In the mid 90s he started just signing his first name, but still did the star undear it. Then I think in the early 2000s it went from a star to more of an elongated 'z'.

I believe it was in 1992.
