Gary, I just added my email to the email list. You don't know how happy I am to have someone like you doing this. Once people realize how many "Fake" or Dick Linke autographs of Andy's are actually out there maybe they will realize the value of his autograph. I used to do the same as you did on ebay, try and try to educate people on what the "Real" signature looked like. I don't shop ebay as much for autographs from cast members on the show anymore, but a few of my friends are now telling me there are fakes showing up of Hope Summers, Frances Bavier, and many others. Why I am not surprised, I would hope people would know if a signature sells so cheap maybe it isn't the real thing. Good luck with it and I will spread the word for you Gary.

Frank and Gary there appear to me to be three category's of Andy Griffith autographs: Authentic, Dick Linke signed and out right fakes.  I have never seen any that I am comfortable calling secretarial although it would not surprise me that there may be.  I have posted some authentic Hope Summers on here she is an uncommon autograph at best.   Frances Bavier I suspect some signed photographs may have been from CBS press department some look so similar.  Most of the fakes are very obvious especially Griffith to anyone that has looked at a real one.
