I have been collecting Star Wars autographs since 1998. Not all of my signatures are on Star Wars memorabilia. For example, when I met Warwick Davis at a comic convention in New York City, I had him sign a Willow photograph. I also have publicity photos of Sir Alec Guinness and Christopher Lee from the 1970s, and a Natalie Portman signed The Diary of Anne Frank theater poster from her performance on Broadway back in 1998. My current wish list includes Peter Cushing, Terence Stamp and John Williams. I am interested in knowing about the collections and wish lists of other members.

Thank you so much for sharing this information Pete. That explains why I was told that she did not sign anything leaving LAX back then. I was also told that she even changed her departure time. Mine was signed at LAX back in July, and the "Ridley" compares very well with the bottom image that has been posted above. The positioning of the "Daisy" and the "Ridley" to each other also compares very well, as well as the shift in the baseline. Here is a link to it in this discussion for the sake of comparison.

Unfortunately for Steven, I think that his window of opportunity has passed. I hope that he purchased at least one of the autographs for $400 when he first had a chance to.
Thanks again.
It's like a vicious circle. I had people tracking Natalie around NY city back in '99 and had scans and pics of everything she signed before walking into that fateful press junket.
Now all these years later tracking the actual pieces Daisy signed her full name on, over the summer of 2015. At least we can match them up later if need be.
That is true and a very good point. There are eight images of exemplars posted in this discussion if we include mine, yours, JXE's, Tony's and the two signed with a black Sharpie. It is very fortunate that we will always be able to refer to those images in the future.
I'm glad I grabbed the full Daisys I have when I did. The fact that she signed the giveaway posters for Disney with her first name tells me that's what she's sticking with. By the next film she may be down to a Keira Knightley checkmark.
As I have said before JXE, I am glad that you posted an image of your first Daisy Ridley autograph when you did because it inspired me to reconsider purchasing mine. I originally turned it down with the hope of purchasing one in the near future. I am very appreciative.
You have an excellent signature on an excellent image. Doesn't get better than that.
Thanks JXE.
I would have the autograph removed Tony. Let's wait to hear what other members have to say about it.
I am interested to see what Chuka has to say..Generally I hate removing sigs but like you said earlier he signed on the focal point of the picture.
I think this piece is a photo of the poster. Plenty of ways to safely remove this from a real photo. If it is a poster, you are stuck with it, unless you want to go the route of Studio C, or another professional restoration shop.
