Star Wars Collectors Unite!

I have been collecting Star Wars autographs since 1998.  Not all of my signatures are on Star Wars memorabilia.  For example, when I met Warwick Davis at a comic convention in New York City, I had him sign a Willow photograph.  I also have publicity photos of Sir Alec Guinness and Christopher Lee from the 1970s, and a Natalie Portman signed The Diary of Anne Frank theater poster from her performance on Broadway back in 1998.  My current wish list includes Peter Cushing, Terence Stamp and John Williams.  I am interested in knowing about the collections and wish lists of other members.

I am hoping that he will appear at NYCC this year.

He did a signing with some random wrestling company a few months ago, official pix has announced they will have a signing with him in the "near future". Also as Pete said, he will probably be at Celebration, although the status of the autograph hall there is still in the air.

Hello to everyone.

Can anybody confirm that Jimmy Vee is taking over from Kenny Baker for SW VIII due to Kenny's poor health and age? Is there any source that confirms this and will collectors be adding JV to their collections? Cheers.

Jimmy is in the cast and he was at the Ireland shoot. When last we saw that set it was Hamill, Chewie, Daisy and R2 on that rock.

It's quite possible that Jimmy is playing a different character, and R2 has been a radio control unit for the last 4 films. Confirmation will have to wait until we see Ep VIII.

Thanks mate. It has been suggested that there may be an Ewok or 2 on the island with Luke Skywalker, and that he may be there for that reason. It's just bugging me that I don't know whether to add JV to my R2D2 piece lol

Luke is mourning the death of his wife.  Ben killed her.  That is my theory.  There are no Ewoks on the island.  That is ridiculous.

I couldn't resist adding one more quite unusual full Daisy before the signing happens. I'm told it is from the second airport event. Unusual in that it's in silver and it's a non-SW shot. Unfortunately there's an inscription removal gone wrong.

I got it after it was taken off. I would have left it there, myself. It's my understanding he got it from a different lab than usual and the photo doesn't take well to removals. Still, I love the shot, the signature and the fact that it's in silver.
