Does this Lennon have a chance?

I'm thinking of grabbing this one in a cash plus trade deal. Seller isn't offering much details on the signature, only adding that it was signed sometime in the late 70's. Faded ink on it with some bleeding, but I'm not sure how it would affect value should the signature be authentic. I'm not the best with Beatles items and I know that solo Lennon from this era can be tricky to verify. I see some positives but not enough to pull the trigger on my own steam. Any and all opinions are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It looks more like a late-80s signature to me.
