Greetings, all.

I have been a collector for 20+ years, and a Beatles fan for 30+.  I have thousands of autographs, and all the while, the one that has eluded me is Sir Paul.  I have tried in person, and even tried by mail back when I was a kid umpteen years ago.  Having a genuine autograph would truly mean a lot to me.

I have three possible examples that I would love some help with.  They are all supposedly from book signings he did.  Please help me out.  I would really appreciate some knowledgeable opinions on all three.

Thanks much, and best to all,

Tom

I still think all 3 are no good.

what do you think of this one?

and this one?

On first look....Both of these look ok.

yes, they are.  and you are very good with Paul McC signatures.  I am normally very very cautious of Macca signatures, but I see similarities between the Yesterday sheet and the first signature.   The second one in the discussion looks spot on to me.  The third one is a little quirky, but so is the second one I posted. but i still see positives in the third one.

I am finding that Macca signatures, because of the endless variations, are almost impossible to authenticate.  But I would not rule out any of these at this point.

Ok. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, that's why this site is so good, on the 2nd one, there is a break between the a and u in Paul, this couldn't possibly be done by Paul, the 3rd is the easiest to tell.....however I totally agree, Pauls recent sigs are very hard to tell, there are tons of these "clouds" books that turn up regularly on eBay, they are almost all crap !

agreed!

look closely, its not a break.  I thought the same thing but I magnified it.  its his typical ccw "loop" that sometimes is connected to the P.  but its not a break.  the rest of the signature, with the angles and spacing, looks good to me.  I do understand 1 and 3 being questionable.

Terrier, of the two you posted, I don't trust the Yesterday.

Well then I'm probably wrong. Frank's the best.

I don't think it is bad to question any autograph, no matter who authenticated it. I do agree however Caiazzo is the best.

one is Caiazzo, the other is Perry. I posted them just to show that there are quirky examples that have been authenticated by these highly regarded Beatles experts.
