Are these Beatles autographs real?

I bought a set of Beatles autographs 4 years ago from Antiquities in Las Vegas. They are authenticated by Drew Max of AAU. After a bit of research on Max, and several rejections from auction houses and prospective buyers, naturally, I'm suspicious of the authenticity of these signatures. Antiquities gave me a money-back guarantee. I'm in Las Vegas RIGHT NOW (I live in San Francisco) and I'm trying to get a refund from Antiquities. Yesterday they gave me the cold shoulder. I'm going back in today hoping to talk to the owner. What am I to do? What do you guys think of the signatures?

If you read some of the forums here, you'll see that anything by Antiquities are forgeries. I'm not a Beatles expert but I'm about 99% sure they are forgeries. They are a forgery outfit based in Las Vegas and also in California, they use high quality frame jobs as a smoke screen, but from what I've read most of there frames aren't that high quality in fact.

Thanks fot the response. I've come to the same conclusion as you. I simply wonder if there is any way to actually get them to accept a return. I'm in Vegas right now with the autographs on-hand.

According to Antiquities, "A claim for a refund must be supported by a written opinion from a professional forensic handwriting expert or judicial finding." Are there any handwriting experts here whose services I might be able to commission?

What a shame Kevin. If it was real they would surely refund you right? Fully signed Beatles album wouldn't depreciate in 4 years, they could make a few bucks reselling it. Plus I'm sure they gave you a crazy deal! Sad thing they probably have 4 more in the back room. Maybe tell them you are going to camp outside for a month, talk to the people coming in.

Many scams are done under the "forensic" expert title. But understand there a real and very good authenticators working for various government agencies and private sector.

But you should have been at this weeks ago before showing up in Vegas. And judicial finding means years, lawyers, judges, etc. Cost you more to do this than what you likely paid.  If they stick to agreement, you will have to get back to them later cause you will not get what you need right away.

But don't let them lead you into confrontation. Don't let things get physical. Go to a strip club if you have to to blow off steam.

And there are many others in your shoes.  A class action lawsuit may be possible. good luck

I am an unemployed disabled veteran living off my disability benefits. I have nothing but time to try and resolve this issue. I am on a mission to expose these crooks. They know they're selling forgeries. I am going to contact Caesers Palace, the LVPD, the local news, and a lawyer. This has only just begun.

Pretty sure these the same folks who sold Jesse Jackson Jr all those Bruce Lee and other forgeries he bought with campaign donations. Part of what sent him and his wife to jail.

I had seen these quite some time ago, possibly on eBay? They aren't authentic in my opinion, and appear consistent with a forgery style associated with Antiquities and the like.
