It's horrendous to watch such a band as UB40, after 30 years of constancy, getting ripped apart, over the past decade and a half, by so much infighting and goddam death.

RIP Astro.

Just this morning I finally heard the new single for the first time. And though circumstances have transformed the song into something more brutally melancholy than what could have been first intended, it's beautiful. I think it was an excellent choice.

As was, I think, the new album cover. It would have been amazing to have it signed by both of those dudes. But alas.

Still, I'm grateful as hell to get hold of anything to do with this thing that Ali might feel up to signing for us.
