Signature is a fake.

Bust, badly, IMHO. Appears a poor simulation to me.

Curious..Simulation?

It is a very unstudied attempt to create a Cash signature to create...cash. As the similarity is very remote perhaps "simulation" was a poor choice. "Bust" says it all in the context of your question, IMO.

Yeah, best to use words everyone understand for the topic. Forgery instead of simulation, etc.

I use that word to describe a certain type of forgery - the most basic. To me a forgery implies some degree a degree of study of the genuine article not seen here. My efforts at clarity might be backfiring! :/

Blatant forgery IMO.

The good news is that the signature should be removable with acetone depending on the guitar finish. Don't use rubbing alcohol as it may damage some urethane finishes, causing swelling or worse. And certainly neither of those solvents if the guitar is nitro finished, but that is unlikely.

I just saw you bought it. Where? You can return it right?
