Michael Jackson drawings (Miscell inc. 'Historic portraits' and 'Disney characters')

I'm noticing a sudden influx of MJ signed Michael Jackson drawings coming on to the auction market, which seem to share the common themes of either 'portraits of historical figures'  or 'Disney characters'.

Both of these themes are of course recognised from Michaels' drawings both at a young age and later in life, but it is interesting that so many new drawings are being released on to the market at the same time.

Here are some current examples:

'Furthermore, Lizzie, who is geographically closer to Simon Parr, why has she not, in her altruistic endeavors, taken Parr to task?  Certainly it is easier for her to get at him than us having to reach across the waters to get at him.'

More assumptions being made....

I agree.  It is a real privilige to have wascher and Lizzie;- their MJ knowledge is hugh and when ever they write anything;- I read carefully, absorb and take note.

It appears that 'Simon Parr' (simopar0 of Wallsend) is now selling 'MJ signed drawings' on ebay uk, starting at 99p, with free P+P:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MICHAEL-JACKSON-MICKEY-AND-MINNIE-IN-LOVE...

A drawing of Mickey and Minnie in love, showing a bashful Mickey as Minnie kisses him on the cheek. The drawing is on 16x11 inch paper. Signed by Michael Jackson in sharpie. Supplied with coa with authentication certification  number

(This was previously offered on Simon Parr Auctions at £670 start for the 3rd Dec 16 auction on Invaluable)

When you look at the people 'simopar0' buys from online, its easy to see where some of his fake art comes from see eg cantarana2011, romartenuova and yanasoulfulart.  The first two sell 'copies' of well-known artists work eg Herge, Picasso, Warhol and Haring...hence the 'Keith Harings' for sale on Simon Parr's site on Invaluable.    Yanasoulful art was  already known from an original drawing he bought then amended and added a fake signature to.

I've 'screen-capped' everything for future reference.

Lizzie can you post the Yanasoulfulart pic (with her sig on it) and then the one Simon was trying to sell with it altered?  Maybe that will help "Mack" see what he is dealing with.

Mack, Yanasoulfulart does drawings of the Jacksons (and others) - she has a specific style to her drawing.  You'll see what is meant by that if Lizzie posts them

...found it: (see this link and 2 posts below that link shows both drawings in one discussion)

http://live.autographmagazine.com/forum/topics/michael-jackson-draw...

Yanasoulfulart sold a drawing of the Supremes ($ 19.00) ..... her signature is bottom far right (slightly cut off).

Parr buys from her, then takes her name off the item, and adds Michael Jackson signature instead, then lists it for $1000.00

In Parr's eBay account you can see he indeed bought from her.

As you can see Mack, we've been following Parr and his or her shenanigans for awhile.

Very enlightening, indeed!  My apologies to Lizzie.  I, reiterate, however, why cannot this guy be stopped at the source?  Lizzie, surely there are enough victims in the UK can file charges of fraud against him there.  Have you reached out to them?

You are correct, that it is up to victims of fraud to file fraud charges.  This is why it is important that potential buyers are made aware of fraudsters.

Thank you for your apology (and thanks also to everyone who made very kind remarks about various posts on these pages).

I wonder why this Parr fella has a 100% positive feedback and that nobody has a gripe about fake autographs?

Maybe because he's never sold anything from his eBay.  Its all buyer feedback (from him buying from others).

http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&useri...

Let's see if he sells the Mickey and Minnie and if he get's good feedback on that.  Do you have a clue who is faking the drawings and autographs?  Is it him or a partner in crime?

Parr has removed his Mickey and Minnie 'MJ' drawing from sale on ebay, before it sold.
