Wanted everyone to be aware of this common Waters forgery style, which is being slipped up by Grad and co. Going to be plenty to choose from after this tour. Another reason not to trust solely the sticker

and risk losing their new big fish....Press Pass? No chance.

I don't like Press Pass. But it is easy for me, this general subject. I don't ever consider buying anything with a sticker on it. I won't buy, sell or say anything other than they are vandalism and I prefer to see the sticker on the cert, or the back at the very least. I was once tempted briefly by something with a gunsho - err, sticker, to the Reverse, I realized quickly that I could never forget it was there.

this the letter u get if steve doesnt approve ur itiem. its basic bulls...t.They could say an ailen signed it.they dont give a real reason just posibilities that any one of these reason could be it or not.what are u paying for a guessing game .total joke  .ps,the itiem was 100 percent authentic that steve didnt pass.they have no real training or knowledge more any one else who studies autographes and has i flashlight  and a ipad.  I GUESS ITS PICK WHATS EVER BEHIND THE DOOR U WANT .SEE LIST

So you're complaining that they won't tell forgers how/what to improve? Of all the things to complain about, that's the one you're going with? Seriously?

Any authenticator who goes into detail about what's wrong with a piece is doing more harm than good.

Think about it, for crying out loud: what would you get out of knowing that they would have passed it if the first letter was signed with 40 degree angle instead of a 45? How would that information benefit anyone except a forger?

becuase i know for a fact there failing real stuff and if im paying for a service a want a real answer.

if i hire some to inspect my my house i get a detailed of whats bad because im paying for a service

when u hire a true art expert the go into paint or canvas or brush strokes

if im paying and there just making up stuff i deserves a real answer especialy when i know there answers are bul s  it

if i hire some to inspect my my house i get a detailed of whats bad because im paying for a service

Uh, no, it's not "because you're paying for a service"--it's so you can fix it. Presumably that'd be why you pay for the services of a home inspector.

Again, in this case, we don't want the problems that are found to be fixed. If that's the reason you're paying for a TPA, you're in the wrong community.

when u hire a true art expert the go into paint or canvas or brush strokes

Thus allowing forgers to correct the issues.

You're paying for their opinion of whether or not it's real, not for them to teach you the ins & outs of a specific autograph and how to forge them in such a way that you can get them certified.

Oh, I left out "...they are free advertisement..."...

If Grad is in with PressPass, then I will not do any business with them. Many of you know my knowledge of PressPass, their beginnings, their owner, etc. Sure there is good stuff, but that is the front for the bad stuff. If they are rubber stamping for them based on volume and supposed trust, then they are making a big mistake and "buyer beware".

I just steer well around them (PPC).

On the MJ its a no brainer..... and pretty much anyone who has looked at MJ's, knows this style - its a glaringly fake. (Secretarial)

I think at one point in time PSA gave Steve this example to show in the Autograph Mag Jackson /special Edition of a secretarial...

These always kill me when I see them because its like... really? noooo pull that please!

I like it less than you do. I can't imaging Steve Grad ever calling that genuine. Look how tiny the small letters are compared to the tall ones and caps.
