A lot of these you can tell don't make sense by the prices alone. A Michael Jordan signed baseball would be a minimum of $600, typically more than that. The one in the photo is $75.

That's just one example. There are many more I could point out that concern me, that don't look right and are not priced right. From what I've seen, this is a story that I would definitely avoid.

Thanks guys. I conveyed your thoughts. I think he is convinced to pass. He was getting terrible advice. Card collectors tend to over estimate their knowledge of autographs. That's where I started and I have learned that autographs are a different animal. some people were encouraging the guy to take a chance on sending in the Jordans and the Mantles to PSA ("only $30 for a signed card, it's worth a shot!"). I've learned there are no authentic Mantle or Jordan "deals" from dealers, ever. If they were real, they would obviously want (and they would get) market price.

"Bart" signed it last week, in a basement in Illinois, between games of Grand Theft Auto just before Pizza Hut delivered.
