Nice set from 1963...

think a h might have got their estimates wildy wrong ;- nice set though

It looks good to me.

Very nice album page set.

nice 63 set for sure

I believe it is "Sir Ringo" now!!

Probably worth 5500 to 6000 retail price (not auction). Compactness of the graphs bring down the price slightly.

Whole book just sold for £3,800, excluding buyer's premium and other add-ons.

In addition to the Beatles, the book had the Stones and a few other names that dealers might be able to sell eventually.

That said I think ca. £5,000 with all the add-ons is a pretty full price for these.

Bruce, which do you usually expect to be more, Retail or Auction?

Your question is aimed at Bruce but for me retail should usually be higher than auction as most dealers get a lot of their stock from auctions. Obviously you do get cases where bidders at auction drive the final selling price up to silly levels, way above retail.

Hi, I opened the bidding in the room on these at £600, next bid was for£2300!! selling at £3800 +18% commission =£4484. Beautiful genuine set of signatures, but very small. There was a lot of other great names in the book. It was a pleasure to have looked through it in person.:-) P.S. You can watch the bidding on Facebook RACC page which I filmed!!
