I have been going over the forums extensively about COA's from R&R Auctions.

I cannot seem to find anything more recent than about 2-3 years ago.

I have an opportunity and am not sure about them.

Would the community still feel the same that a COA from them would help in the legitimacy of the autograph in question.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

there coas come from outside sources . if u buy something from them u can pay extra to have it certified by that expert otherwise u don't get a coa.

they do vet there stuff before it goes to auction

I have an opportunity to purchase some items and they come with the original COA from R&R.

I am just wondering if they are considered a trustworthy source?

I would say so you used to get RR coas all the time up until a few years back when they offered direct coas from authenticators, Im sure they still had items prechecked before listing them, I would think it ifs an RR coa it would maybe be over 5 years ago can you not check the item on the past auctions or is it even older than that

I would trust the authenticity of an RR Auction LOA but perhaps not their older ones before the item was pictured on the document.  Better to post questionable ones here on the site.

RR has a very solid reputation. If I'm sure the COA came with the item, I definitely see it as a big plus when I'm buying something.

Show the item is my answer. I like RR very much but the graph is what you are ultimately asking about.

This is one of the items.  It is being run by an auction house in Texas.

This is paint pen and she died in 1992 - what are you using for exemplars for these late date abbreviated signatures?

That’s what I am questioning.

The topic is if I trust R&R Auctions as a trustworthy source.

You have no period exemplars? I can not suggest buying anything "as is" based on a slip of paper. Any entity or house can make mistakes - that is why I avoid blanket statements about this or that source. Hopefully someone with knowledge of this signature will chime in.

I also was looking at this one as an exemplar.

Member Syreena Sexxton posted this as being authentic.

It would be good to have about 20 more...
