1965 John Lennon autograph - genuine or not?

I was offered this autograph by someone and wanted to know what others think. I have concerns about its authenticity.

It might be by John Lennon but this guy wasn’t in the Beatles!!!

+1 the one from yesterday had a "J" closer to Jackie Gleason!

That 'J' gives me concern. I'd continue the research.

Bottom line: when in doubt, throw it out.

There's several concerning characteristics - the bottom of the 'J', the 'o' and the 'nn' in Lennon is an absolute mess. The more I look at it, the less I like it.
