Hello out their,

I am making this post because i think others might really be interested in this particular seller on ebay if your not aware of him. I just found him during his last auction and the products look great. They are pretty much all 11 by 14 signed high quality pics that are all JSA certified with corresponding card. The signatures all look good too. And since Roger has looked at them already, or another JSA member, you know their good. Id definetly check them out if your interested, they also have some baseball names. I dont know this seller, just think his items are a steal.

For instance, his bids all start at 9.99. They are multiple Neil Youngs, Eddie Vedders, Lady Gaga (if your into that), and some other great rock names, and the bids arent up past 40 dollars on really any of them. Their are 4 days left, but i was their at the end of last autction and he had a some of the exact same names and the Neil Youngs and Vedders didnt got above 50 or 60 dollars. Their is also alot of actors like Nichols, Depp, and Schwarzeneger (spelling?).

anyway they could be fakes, but they are all JSA certified so i do kinda doubt it, im hoping someone who is just unloading a collection quick. I just didnt want to hog all the deals as you could probably even resale these for alot more.

Hope this helps someone.

Oh yeah the ebay name is

certifiedgraphs

I have noticed, more and more, that sellers on eBay have shill bidders (friends) who bid up their items so that they end at high prices. You can detect this by looking at an item's bid history and the seller's previous items. Maybe that is why he uses the private listing functions. Most of the items look fine..I think it is the seller who is questionable.

Shilling has been an epidemic on ebay for a LOOOONG time.

I suppose with the economy in the dumps and auctions not realizing the same prices they were a few years ago, shilling will even get worse. Some sellers will do it to try to avoid taking a bath on an item they overpaid for a few years ago.

I am very conscious of shilling and this is why I usually stick to Buy It Nows/Make offers. Shilling is easy to suspect, but hard to prove unless the seller is a total idiot.

I agree with Mr. Zipper. The majority of auctions I win are "Buy It Now" or "Best Offer."
TRUE TRUE TRUE...

By the way...

You'd be surprised how low some sellers will go with Make an Offer. It may be a crazy high BIN, but I've had MUCH lower offers accepted. You need to use common sense and not make an insulting offer, but don't be afraid to push the envelope a bit.

;-)

Good tip Zip, any favorite eBay members to shop from?

Trying to expand my sources

I totally agree with Mr. Zipper again. Personally, I love the "Buy It Now" and "Best offer" option. I've gotten some great deals using the "Best Offer" option and I am surprised that more buyers don't use it.

Right, the fact that Make an Offer is there means they will take less than BIN price. lol

Unless it is already priced really low and sure to go fast, it never hurts to make an offer.

Don't they watch IP addresses?  Seems like that would do the trick.
