I just received an email that my order has been dispatched. It is destined to my Forwardvia UK address. This is a new system for me so I hope I do not get pelted too bad with shipping this to me in the United States.

I did the same and it looked to me that it would be under 20 pounds depending on what service we picked. Which i am totally good with for something like this. I guess we will know fairly soon.

My package arrived to Forwardvia. There were a lot of options. Cheapest Royal Mail with no tracking and then a lot of various DHL and Federal Express. I did not want to take the chance on the cheapest of royal mail at 14.42 pounds so I went with DHL at around 27 pounds. about USD $18 more than the cheapest but I feel comfortable with tracking and quicker transit. The price of the CD was cheap anyway.

Yeah these prices suck. I get LPs sent from the UK all the time tracked and pay around $20 US for them. But I figure it is basically paying a $10 convenience fee to this company for their service which I'm good with.

Yeah, cost me $47 USD to use UPS to ship it to me in Maryland. It’s highway robbery but I wouldn’t do it unless it was one of the “biggies” like Elton. I just hope I’m not one of these people who receives an unsigned one.

Wow Nick, spendy. Now I do not fee so bad. Shipping, postage and all of that is very expensive these days. It is definitely daylight robbery and they can leave the gun at home. I agree with you, I would not have done a more expensive DHL option versus standard royal mail if it wasn't someone like sir eltion john. My paperwork showed the signed CD option so I am pretty confident I will get what I ordered. Take Care!

I look at it this way, I would have probably bought one off eBay anyway for over 100 USD, so I’m actually ahead of the game. I never really thought about owning an Elton John autograph before but to get one that you know is 100% authentically signed, that’s amazing. I see people weekly/monthly posting their Elton’s on here and getting rejected for authenticity so I guess this site kind of persuaded me to get an Elton for my collection.
