To those who purchased The Philosophy of Modern Song, we want to apologize for crushing your dream of obtaining an authentic Bob Dylan signature at an affordable price. As it turns out, the limited edition books do contain Bob’s original signature, as all of the autopen matrices that were used are named Bob. Nevertheless, we are providing each purchaser with an immediate refund because, well, we don’t really have a choice at this point.

This will happen again. The Dolly folk will buy a third. And she is reusing templates! I spoke to someone who ordered a copy from every country available in the HOPE of getting one hand-signed by Dolly. You just can't fight that kind of thinking. Hook, line and sinker.

I hate to say it but they don't look that bad. They caught a mistake and did the right thing. Nevermind the extensive attempted fraud and blatant lies and attempts to deny the obvious.

We all will, we have just - as you rightly said - set a precedent. We have to fight the next battle - and the ones after that - to eradicate that disgusting and dishonest autopen practice altogether.

As you put it, this is not a mistake, this is blatant extensive fraud, not once but twice with Indigo aswell , the second attempt was using a staggering 17 different templates - So devious it is beyond belief really!
It's OK though we will all be ready and waiting ready for the next time it happens and as we all know it will - they will give up before I do and i know you all feel the same !
