I agree Kai, previous autopens/secretarials are definitely relevant info. I almost didn't buy the last signed Van Morrison release 'Moving On Skiffle' b/c of his previous autopen, but once I saw a comment from a certain member who has been spectacularly wrong multiple times before, I pulled the trigger on it. Lo and behold, I received a big, fat, juicy, legit Van Morrison sig. Happy times.

Yeah. I think people can be trusted to make their own decisions given all the info. available. I certainly hope he signs, which is why I was curious if anybody has seen them pop up anywhere else.

I dunno. Dude is 90. Color me skeptical.

Ok, so it’s different when you post the fact there’s a history of autopen. Maybe include a sample of the autopen when you bring it to a thread? I guess my point has more to do with people calling out autopen without evidence or just assuming something is autopen, which does happen.

I do think a lot noise was made over some recent autopen and publishers know they can’t get away with it anymore, especially on big name releases.

Agreed. Cormac McCarthy did sign though, albeit in very limited numbers.

Thank you! I saw a couple months ago these were still available in the UK but hesitated back then because of the overall price. I forgot about it until now, checked again and luckily still available. If something happens to Van, id be kicking myself if I didnt buy a couple now. $113 total for 2 shipped to the US. Ive been spending a lot this month and almost talked myself out of it again. Just pulled the trigger with no regrets at all. I should post this on vans thread but will post here too since it came up

I ordered a couple but didn't notice any way of stipulating signed copies only. Sent them an email after the event - hopefully that will suffice or may have to cancel with c.c. provider.
