According to the publisher other stores will get them. The cancellation email had a link to a page where you can sign up for a mailing list specifically related to getting notifications from them when other retailers get copies to sell.

This is why people end up with 10 grohls, 10 brian johnsons, 10 bono's.. we are all so worried that this will happen that we buy from every source. This practice is only good for resellers. It creates a huge demand for the people who only ordered from 1 source which failed to come through.. FOMO kicks in and they all scurry to ebay to buy from the people who purchased from every source and now have extras

My order from Blackstone is still showing Pending. Did I miss something where people were notified all orders were to be cancelled?

The email I just got said all orders will be cancelled. I'd check your spam, or maybe it just hasn't made it to you yet.

I'd bet anything that we hear about new copies here before the publisher emails anyone about them. Which is why this forum is the best.

Just the fact that they're sending this out a couple of hours after B&N sells out without even acknowledging that retailers have already started to offer these proves it for me.

My guess is they wrote this message with B&N in mind, but B&N had the pre-order up before this email went through the internal approvals.
