I think the biggest issue here will be how to stock gets distributed. I'm certain the links posted here have an insane amount of orders. A store can request 100 copies, but they may only get 10. I'm not going to be shocked if all 5 of my orders get cancelled, but i hope a few of us get lucky with this. And a big THANK YOU to Joel for posting it.

I placed an order for 1 thanks. Less than 5 minutes later I purchased 1 more and my order number increased by 45. Assuming the order numbers are chronological and everyone is buying these, these are selling super fast. I really doubt they will have that much stock

So I somehow had an extra one sitting in my cart even though the page was taken down. Figured why not, I placed another order for 1. The order number between my 1st order and this last one is 198. And who knows how many people ordered before my 1st. If all their orders were for greenday, what are the chances this store will receive over 200? More like probably way over 500 because im sure most people bought multiples

Yeah this worries me my number is in the hundred thousands, not sure if that matters maybe it's just s number but this is all new to me, never pre ordered anything online for the matter aside from a PS5 game lol. How many copies do you think they'd sign?

Just guessing here:
Maybe they sign 5000, which sounds like a lot, but if you distribute that over 100 independent record stores then it's just 50 a store. I think there are a lot more than 100 Indies so I don't think they will get 50.
Distribution might be equally divided as in my example, but more than likely it's based on their market share, so linked to the number of product they normally sell. A small Indie might therefore only receive 2 copies while a large one might get 50.
Online sales might be different as it seems that stock is shared on the backend.

Don't worry about the total order number, just how it advances in sequence. My 1st order was a bit over 864700 and my last order was a bit over 864900

Mine was in the 864 number but much lower than 400 at the end.

I Got mine using mainstreetmusicpa it's below 400 at the end I just didn't want to narrow it too much.

I got mine from Mills and it's order number 863xxx so I'm wondering if all of these stores have the same ordering system and the order numbers are reflective of all sales across all stores.
