Fake. That’s one of those forgeries from a mass forgery that took place about a decade ago I think. They made hundreds of these. We had a thread about them a few months ago. There were a handful of particular photos where they forged these and this is one of those photos. I heard they are card stock photos instead of real professional photos. They also forged Harvey sketches and other Jimmy Stewart - some very convincing and some not so much.
A member acquired a big group of these and sent them to some members here to study. I was not part of the original group but I would had loved to participate in it. Maybe that original lot still has some left to be distributed to collectors that want to study these forgeries.

Actually that project has been on hold due to some (unrelated) unforeseen events, but I promise to jumpstart it soon.

I want to take part in it if possible. I would like to receive some of the forgery photos and other items. This is a project that interests me.

There was a thread here a few months ago that showed some of these forgeries including this photo with forged signatures.
