I'm almost certain this is fake, especially because it's a laid in signature, which I always assume is a forgery unless there is a very good reason not to.

In any case, I figured it would be worth asking just in case.

I bought the book it came with for a good bit under what a non-signed copy would cost, so the authenticity of the signature never mattered to me at the time of purchase.

I actually think this one is good, but my experience with Bradbury is limited.

I also think it may be real.  I am just going from memory but I wrote to RB many times and this does not immediately send up any red flags for me.

I'd also scrutinize/compare the inscription - it might help confirm its authenticity.

Very surprised to hear this might be authentic! Perhaps I've grown too cynical with all of the forgeries out there.

That's a good attitude to have. But I think you have a good one here. 

Here are some examples of writing and signatures from two item I got from RB.  These are probably later than your item but they give you an idea of his writing.

This is authentic. His hand-writing is inconsistent but the autograph is pretty regular and this looks fine to me.
