First time post, long time lurker

finally joined the boards so I could share this.

Axl Rose graphic novel with a bunch of swag. Need to get Tier 5 to get the autograph.  A little pricey but I haven’t seen a Axl here before. Maybe there has been one.

Once again these all look fine to me ! Without any disrespect at all   I do think people are panicking a bit. The issue for me is just more the quality. The actual card is a cool design but even with the silver ones when the signature is rushed it will never look the best. There are two many dark colours on the card which clash with black and sliver signature. What i like is that we are all on the same wavelength with questioning things and proceeding with caution. I am a better collector and person because of this site . ☺️☺️

I agree that I dont think anyone should panic yet. Wait till more expert opinions get brought in to make up your minds. I haven't checked other forums or sites so I based my opinions on only what I've read and seen here... and maybe I'm just being the devils advocate. Theres just a few weird things, enough to proceed with caution... like the strange Grad quick opinions and some ppl saying the black ones look like his assistants handwriting. Which would line up with the pic of him signing... hes aiming for the spot the silvers are signed and is holding a silver marker. So it would make sense that the silvers at least are probably real...

But like you said its good to go at it as a team and put our heads together as collectors, and our opinions, and anything else that can be found, and come up with a consensus. Definitely makes for better collecting and better for the hobby. 2 heads are better than 1, and 10-20 are waaaaay better than 2 lol.

After all the rip off autopens I hate seeing fellow collectors get ripped off... I almost quit the hobby completely after the Bob Dylan bs... that was a dream autograph, probably the one living person I wanted the most, he was the first concert I ever went to as a teenager... I had trouble looking at autographs for awhile after that debacle. I still dont enjoy his music quite as much lol... and don't like him as a person anymore (not that he cares or knows, but makes me feel slightly better at least lol) 😂

i agree bud- let’s see who is the first to get jsa which i do believe they all will pass because i think they all are good- especially since they are numbered of 500 limited- it’s not like the guy signed that many and they could have faked it much earlier on if they were trying to pull a fast one. just my opinion. they are consistent from what i’m seeing

Here's mine number 182, I'm happy enough with it as long as it's legit.

i sent this today- no response back yet

here is a clearer picture of mine. no 174

I think his sig is quite easy to forge, thats another problem

did anyone send it to jsa yet?

Has anyone successfully returned theirs yet? What has Sumerian said about a return request?

Someone posted yesterday on another forum that they were refunding those who weren’t satisfied. I have no idea if that’s true or not.

Only seen a couple new ones, added below. Sounds like some folks are still waiting on theirs. Highest number so far is 261.

I’ve been following several discussions on various threads/forums this week. There’s a pretty wide range of opinions out there.

Some who claim to know his signature well say that these are definitely real. Others who also claim to know his signature well say these are definitely fake (possibly signed by his assistant, Beta).

I’ve seen posts claiming multiple examples have passed a quick authentication, and others claiming multiple examples have failed one.

To me, the silver/white signatures appear mostly consistent and in the same hand. They also appear to resemble known authentic examples. I’d probably feel comfortable owning one of those at this point. I think some of the variation could be explained by rushed signing or fatigue (or both).

That’s not to say there are issues with the black ones. You just can’t see them as well. I agree that at least some of the apparent differences may be due to marker thickness and the fact that they’re signed in a darker area.

I think there may be a couple ones that seem odd/different….I don’t know though, I’d still like to see more examples. At this point, I guess we’ve seen roughly 6% of the 500 total.
