Thank you. I actually never considered that so you could be right, but this is one of the most commonly used reprints sold as genuine, as you probably know.

so it's not lost in the future;

WOW, look at this one that just sold for $1600.   Looks exactly like the one above.

Glad I did not bid!!

Yeah, that SAME exact Armstrong autograph is seen all the time and is always sold as original. It is the first image that comes up when you google search "Neil Armstrong Autograph."

it will come back around at some point;

The seller (zach0245) just re-listed it after it was removed earlier today.

The sellers listing the "reprints" over and over again are really irritating me. They are stealing these images from RR auction and other auctions on eBay. How high quality can their prints be if the source is medium res online images?

Cheesy and cheap. I can't believe they can't be veroed somehow.

And if I was the owner of one of the originals, I would not be pleased my item had been unethically reproduced and sold without my permission.

I completely agree with you, who would pay $100 or $400 for a cheap $3 reprint. And yeah some of the reprints are from my originals. Although they state them to be reprints, they clearly are expecting someone to bid without reading the description, because it is assumed that anyone clicking an auction at $399 is expecting it to be an original.

Yup. Who would pay hundreds of dollars for a 8x10 when you could capture the same images online and print them up for $3 ... just like the seller is doing? LOL

Lol, true! He must be printing it on solid gold paper or something.

I believe they can be according to the posting rules on ebay.

Item 300773542510 is no longer available. again based on whoever here reported it again.

Would love to get an opinion on my Neil Armstrong autographed 3x5 index card.  I obtained this thru the mail from Armstrong's address in the early 90's, approximately '92 or '93.
