Its the second coming of Coaches Corner. Morales seems to be the main authenticator. Mantle, Williams, DiMaggio just to name few are being sold. Just more garbage that needs to be exposed

Look in completed section and they sold a Rolling Stone "signed" Album for $300

The Rolling Stones "signed" record label is completely ridiculous.

This one:

Wow those are horrible. Well hopefully Pat McManus will come to his senses and morals and end these items and stay out of the autograph game until he learns how to properly research his items. For a start McMnaus, you could run all your auction items through 2 avenues. One is PSA/DNA quick opinion. For 7 bucks they will give you there opinion. They get it wrong at times, but get far more right. And the big name people you offer they get it right most times. Or you could even ask the members on this site there opinion before you agree to consign. But something tells me you wont do either of the 2.

But here is the kicker. If you do go through with the sale of any of the forgeries you are currently offering you are violating your current disclaimer and contractual agreement to the buyer. Which was of course saved before this thread took off so that it cant be changed b/c of this thread. In this thread you have admitted that these items are forgeries (by consenting that the members here know what they are talking about and are correct). Your disturbed take on that though is that buyer should beware. Very messed up.

But then, as Wascher pointed out, your own disclaimer states that you take time to authenticate every item and make sure they are legit, that you sell. Which is completely false when it comes to the items you are selling and have admitted that. You have admitted here that your only research into these graphs were looking at the Chris Morales COA's. You admitted you didnt research any of them, you just simply consigned them b/c they had a COA, and that was good enough for you. You didnt even take the few minutes it would take to see that many, if not most of the items you are offering are coming with COAs from banned authenticators on ebay. Its very hard to get banned on ebay, so only the worst authenticators in the world get put on that list for certing forgeries. And yet you have no problem selling these items.

So if you do sell these items, which i imagine you will, you are setting yourself up for not only many many returns, and also potential legal action b/c of the remarks you have made on here incriminating yourself. You have admitted you are knowingly selling forgeries. That is a crime punishable by jail time. You should consider this strongly. I know many of the members on here take forgeries very very serious and take the time to report chronic sellers of forgeries to the FBI.

Do the right thing Patrick McManus. End the forgery auctions and take the time to make sure your autograph auctions are legit.

It looks like McManus is deleting FB comments again, have seen comments made on this auction and then they disappear.

I can vouch for the fact that he did because I was the guy that called PSA to ask about the availability to do such a thing. The $5000 is just the cost to get an authenticator to come to his site, there would be an additional cost per item that is authenticated, or not.

So McManus had you call PSA to check on the availability of coming onsite to authenticate?

Hardly a neutral party. How much you getting paid to come here and stick up for them?

Nothing. I'm simply a customer that has purchased items from McManus before and they knew I have a memorabilia background and contacts within the industry. I never said I was neutral. These are good people who are just trying to keep a small business going. All I've been trying to say is that the attacks on the people there is uncalled for. They aren't experts in memorabilia, and, I know I'm going to get attacked for this comment.... either are you. No one here is an expert. I haven't seen any credentials listed from any person commenting here. Is there a lot of experience here? Absolutely. Is everyone right about everything they have said? I highly doubt it. They can't cancel an auction just because a few people on this thread say things are fake. That's just not how things work in the real world. I think you know that. The auction house is doing what they were contracted to do. I guess it's up to folks like you and me to decide whether to bid, or not.

There are experts on this forum who authenticate for the respected 3rd party authenticators.

However, in this case, it doesn't take an expert with any credentials to see that most, if not all of the items pictured in his auction are bogus.

The Ruths are horrible. The 1939 Induction autograph item is a joke.

If he really wants to know, he can submit 10 random high dollar items to PSA/DNA for a "Quick Opinion" for $100. That sounds cheap enough to give him a good idea of what he has.

I guarantee not one item of any random 10 high dollar items will come back "Likely Genuine."

While many people arent experts on here Mike Miller. The members such as Chris Williams, Ryan, terrior, and basically every baseball guy who commented on these crap forgeries ARE.  One thing without any doubt however is that they know a million times more than YOU will ever know on baseball graphs. And some work for PSA, JSA, or have in the past. Some are considered at among the best in the world at certain graphs. Chris Williams is perhaps the best Mantle expert in the world, and there are few who know Ruth better than William Ferrel. But we dont need to be experts with these crappy forgeries.

Oh and by the way, ur litlte buddy McManus (excuse me, yourself Mcmanus) already admitted not only that the graphs were fake, but that he didnt care and was going to sell them anyway.

That is fraud, and i assure you, if these items sell, your business will not recover

Anybody can't type up credentials for you to see. Look at Chris Morales, Drew Max, Justin Priddy, Mike Baker,....etc. They all have credentials that they prepared themselves. All of them read very impressively, yet none of them can authenticate an autograph. They certify nothing but forgeries. Some of these guys have a rejection rate of 0 or claim they don't keep these stats.

Credentials mean little in this industry. Years and years of experience and collecting trump night school certificates.

Yawn.........same old tired song and dance. Seller of forgeries gets busted, seller of forgeries comes back under a new name to defend himself, or gets his business partner to come on and defend him.........we realize it from minute one, nothing is accomplished by the OP.

Happens maybe 5 times a month, and is pathetic. Time for a new punch line fellas
