I assume this is real given its provenance but I thought I would double-check as Noel and Mitch look a touch odd to me. According to the seller they were half asleep at the time. Great piece if real.

Thanks, but you missed my reply! I wasn't searching for it outside of AML. Our search engine is so headbangingly bad that I use Google to search our site...and the Antiques Roadshow piece came up!

this has been on this site before the Mitch isnt correct it was up with Rock Legends auctions a few months ago starting at £1800 and didnt get a bid

It was definately on here somewhere around 3 months ago as i remember replying to it im not sure on the others but Mitch is definately wrong i didnt bid as that spoilt it for me

If anyone needs help finding the previous thread you need to search for "Experience" within this forum category (Authenticity Opinions). There wasn't much discussion at that time and no input from ballroom.

It was the Mitch and Redding (to some extent) that were bothering me but I had no recollection of the other thread. The Redding inscription is a bit odd for a rock star - "Best regards"  sounds like something I would write in an office email. I know Noel was a fairly quiet man but it still seems a bit stiff.
