Spent a few minutes on the UACC homepage and noticed that bio of world renowned autograph collector and dealer John Reznikoff has been wiped clean.

There is a picture of Reznikoff still listed under "Our Team" on the UACC homnepage. e But under the sub-headings of "UACC story" and "Collector Profile"...only the word "pending" appears...there is absolutely NO information about this highly prized member of our hobby. Unless John Reznikoff has never been a UACC member and is in the process of being vetted....but then why is there a color photo of him but no bio information????

You can check for your self on the UACC homepage under "Our Team".

I don't remember when Reznikoff was a director of the UACC. As far as I know it's been many years at least. He's a general member and a member of the UACC Registered Dealer Program. That's all I know.

Thanks Steve but I'm not sure I've got my answer yet...

There are UACC members here who might know more.

I believe Steve Z is a current director of UACC...perhaps he can chime in...

He is definitely listed on page 1 of Karen Burris' affidavit as one of the big dogs she accuses of being  in collusion with RR.  BUt it should also be noted that Karen Burris; affidavit is full of things that don't make sense and of course this was a woman who shortly later hurt herself permanently

Don,

The truth is that you don't know why Reznikoff's profile isn't filled out on the UACC site. Neither do I. One thing I do know is that if the UACC suspends or expels someone, they update their website with that news quickly...usually immediately.

It's important not to throw suspicions and accusations out there until you know if they are true or not, Don. That doesn't only harm the person or company you're talking about if you're wrong...it can harm collectors who don't know who's OK to do business with and who isn't.

I went to a site called "wayback machine" which takes snapshots of websites periodically and preserves what was there.

John's profile on the UACC page looks the same today as it did since 2013.

On March 17th, 2013 here is a snapshot:   https://web.archive.org/web/20130317055213/http://uacc.org/staff.php

Here is a snapshot from Dec 2013: https://web.archive.org/web/20131208083043/http://uacc.org/staff.php

And one from Oct 2014:  https://web.archive.org/web/20141022075800/http://uacc.org/staff.php

I believe the title on this discussion should be changed.

If  you go to UACC.ORG  and click on the header title "About Us" and then click on the sub link "Our Team" you will see a list of the UACC leadership, including directors. Every one of the people listed has a full and detailed biography with one exception.

Now John Reznikoff's picture is still there and the title under his picture is "director" but there is no biographical information. None. His resume is blank where the other 9 board members, information-wise, are present and fully accounted for. But not Reznikoff. I'm asking why??

I agree with you and others that he still appears to be a general member of UACC. But more to the point  I want to know if he has been asked to step down or has he been removed from his DIRECTORS position??

It IS a valid question.

A yes or no will suffice.

The silence is deafening.

Wascher, if you find out please let us know...

Fair enough questions but the subject of this thread sensationalizes something that maybe nothing.

It alludes to the fact he was suspended even with the question marks behind it. He may never had a bio or resume listed. To automatically assume he may have been suspended is a bit premature.

To quote Steve Cyrkin...

"when UACC suspends or expels someone they update their website with that news quickly...usually immediately..."

Right Steve!!! UACC keeps their website tidy and up-to-date!!! So assuming what Steve says here is 100 per cent correct (and I believe that he is) why then is Reznikoff's  biography left flapping in the breeze ??

I've expressed my thoughts clearly here a number of times on this thread. I'll be back when we get the answer.

'til then...

As Wascher clearly demonstrated from past screen shots, John's bio has been "pending" since the UACC launched the site years ago. He obviously never submitted his information to be posted. What you see is not a recent change.

While it may be an oversight in tending to that page, there is no grand conspiracy here.

Thanks Steve and I know that you are a current director at UACC.

That is indeed a surprising (to me) oversight.

So Steve, you can confirm today that Mr. Reznikoff remains a member of the board of directors at UACC and remains in good standing too ??

Don,

Please stop making demands. It is not the job or responsibility of anyone on this site to do your research.

It is YOUR responsibility to be fair and reasonable in your posts on Autograph Live. Your title and the way you wrote the original post in this discussion was unfair and irresponsible, because the way you wrote it made it look like he was suspended from the UACC. Yet you don't have any proof of that beyond a bio being missing, do you?

Did you ever think to ask the UACC yourself?

I have changed the title of this discussion for now. You do the investigation yourself and come back and report to us here.

Please be fair and reasonable when you post in the future.

Don,

The UACC announces when they take disciplinary action.
