I wonder if this is a real Errol Flynn signature.
what do you think?
Look at the baseline among other things. The "Err" = world of difference.

You're talking about that roger's example or the other I've uploaded?
I'll leave it here :
The example you purchased from Autografica. Looks good.
Thanks for the feedback. It was very important to me because I didn't buy that rogers and went for this instead! Thanks to all for all the tips and advices.
Thanks Joe. The more you look at these two the more you see.
Eric
how do you account for the reality that ball point pens often leave inconsistent ink trails having to do with impurities accumulated from use where the ball, paper and ink meet? This often happens independent of hesitation or inconsistent pressure.
Indeed. Nothing is 100%, and that is OK in my book. I try to look for the spots where speed and accuracy combine to make tough corners and tight turns for forgers/secretaries etc. Usually, to me, no single element brings down a decent attempt, but several problems appearing in tandem often point to...a problem. Things that occur independent of pressure and hesitation might be expected on both authentic and genuine. In this Flynn, the largest thing I see is an uncomfortable and drawn look, then baseline and so on.

Eeric, this is one of the better, sensible, well written accounts of what non experts need to learn to begin understanding how to differentiate one aspect of this art-that is a shitty pen vs a forger
Thanks Frank - glad to be of any help. And to Sling - thanks for the kind words.
