Album Displays

I'd like to see how some of you have displayed your albums with the vinyl, I also have a PSA cert that can be framed within the frame if that is something people like to see?  Or should that be better left to the back of the frame backing in a plastic sleeve?

Thanks guys.  These are all very nice looking.  I actually do want to keep the vinyl in the frame, the vinyl is pristine, looks never played so I think it will display nicely. :)

With this one the suffers signed front and centre, so they cut the record along the seem to display the autographs, but that's a no no if you collect vinyl esp if its valuable. But it works.

Send the album to me, I'll take care off it frame it up.

If I remember the thriller lps are gatefolds, so if you don't matt them in the framer's will have to use tape to hold the lp together if your going to float the album.

I have been doing my own matting and picture framing for about 20 years. I would like to start doing my signed albums, but am concerned about the best way. If matting is used to cover any of the album, then there will be pressure marks left on the album. If it is a fitted frame, I don't want the signature touching the glass. I'm not about doing fancy cuts showing the record. Are there basic frames that can have the album slightly inset so that it is held in place and doesn't let the front come into contact with the glass?

Hey everyone - just saw this thread and I thought it was a great discussion. I collect mostly signed vinyl, however, do not like paying a fortune for framing. I was wondering if anyone had good methods using cheaper framing and protecting the signature?

Also, do most people take the records out of the covers when framing? Most of my records are still in the cover framed and now I am concerned of things like ring ware damage.

I use hollywoodposterframes.com. Buy the archival frame with the non-glare (museum) plexiglass. Take the record out of the cover before framing. They are protected and I think they look good.
