Surely, this is the most expensive photo by The Beatles ever sold at auction. Indeed one of the finest Beatles signed photo in existence. Signed in 1965 on Balmoral Island in The Bahamas.

Sold for $146,635 including BP by Iconic Auctions

OK, their rules say their BP is 20%, but add 3% if you pay by card. I haven't bought from them so I didn't know they added it upfront.

Steve Cyrkin, Admin Ah OK, I see. Well, same same by the end of the day.

What do you think about the price in relation to this one for $36K? Is it worth an extra $110K?

Was this posted here before - or the other one (OP)? I feel I have seen this/these/that before posted here.

There was a discussion in which a member asked to see all available signed examples of this photo. They may have been posted there.

Yeah, that was me! I was in the market for one. If this is where the prices are going, I’ll never get one.

Indeed!

To answer the question, although the OP is the easiest resale, with blast contrast and great placement, and the most generally desirable, I would prefer the one Ballroom posted for the inscription and John's added stripes, seemingly related to the recipient. If that recipient is a known person then I really I prefer Ballroom's example.

I didn’t mention that the one I posted has a “slight horizontal fold to the left side that has been professionally repaired.”

I see it now - thanks.

The one in the OP is easily worth 3 as much. It's in almost perfect condition, no folds, no stains, only the lightest ageing, signatures are bright and full ink, no personalization (I like personalization but most don't unless it's to a famous person).

It's as close to a perfect signed Beatles photo as I've ever seen.

Agreed easily, but the first B/W posted appears to be right behind.
