Not my area of expertise and not a signature I have studied closely. I'm not offering an opinion one way or another.

That said, carefully executed sentiment with no personalization... on a random scrap that one assumes must be from an in-person encounter, if authentic... Spidey Sense is tingling.

Your example blows away most of the things I was concerned about in the salutation of the other one, Ballroom.

I don't know, Steve. The two inscriptions don't seem to compare too well. Again, I don't have a great deal of experience with Elvis signatures, but the one I posted looks much better to me.

I listed 6 things, primarily related to the inscription, that concerned me about the piece. You're right that they look very different from each other, but the piece you posted has a number of the characteristics that previously concerned me, and I found some among the early Elvis autographs in Roger's 2007 Elvis signature study too.

Hi Steve

I have seen 2 Merry Christmas's signed items around 1956 and both wasn't dedicated to anybody, I don't always agree with Roger Epperson's opinion on Elvis Signatures but on this accession I do
