Would anyone be able to provide any information about Al Pacino private signings being sponsored by KLF Sports and/or Mounted Memories?  The items include a PSA/DNA ITP.  Thanks in advance.

The whole A-list private signing thing really seems to be spotty.  Obviously the Harrison Ford ones were quite successful.   Celebrity Authentics, while they do have some of the advertised signings (Weaver, Ruffalo, a few others), advertise top names like Christian Bale and Daniel Craig for (literally) YEARS with no success, other than the non-refundable deposits they grab from people.  Don't advertise something you can't successfully arrange.

Another good case is the upcoming Gene Wilder private signing discussed yesterday that appears to be quite questionable, with some misleading pricing listed on the website and evidently clueless customer service.

We probably need to start a thread discussing Celebrity Authentics now that the Gridiron Authentics thread is becoming pretty conclusive that they're peddling fakes. I haven't seen any fakes come from CA, but it certainly has me concerned, especially because they share a fax number and CA charges read GA on your credit card statement.

i saw those prices for gene wilder which is more then pacino lmao

they should get robert deniro to do a private signing

Here is your chance for an authentic Pacino. This was emailed to me earlier. I did not email for pricing but I bet they are expensive.

PSA/DNA witnessed a Pacino signing--more than one I think--but Pop Culture Vault is owned by Jerry Gladstone of American Royal Arts. He sold tons of music and entertainment forgeries, then has liquidated the company, leaving victims out in the cold. No one should do business with that company.

Thanks Steve.

I just learned that these items are currently being sold by Press Pass Collectibles on eBay.  They have a very nice selection.

Ive read good and bad about press pass collectibles .Are they safe? They say the photos are in person PSA certified for  399 dollars or best offer.

Here is the deal with PressPass Collectibles.  It is run by a guy named Kyle Bell.  he is local here in Arizona and I have known him since he was 14.  He has always been about making a buck, whether legitimately or not.  He was well know here for getting a team item partially signed ad having Mike Aring finishing it off for him.  He used to brag about having an auto pen and using it to fake signatures.  He was completely driven by $$$$.  He was known to have items authenticated by JSA and PSA that were not good as he had deals with them to do a large inventory and have them come here locally to do a show he sponsored.  There is good stuff mixed in with bad.  I have seen him in action and have bought items from him in the past, before I knew better, that were all fake.

Thank you for your quick response steve, Ive read your previous posts about this dude. Im a very suspicious person having read this website since the magazine closed up. In your opinion would these in person psa pacinos be ok to purchase? I want a no doubt authentic one with no monkey business. I would hate to have to come down to AZ if this guy dared rip me off. Thank you.

Ian, I want to know as well.  When I look at these signatures, I see something completely different that every other signature we ever see.  I would like to know who at PSA witnessed these being signed, where were they signed etc.  If they are taking Press Passes word because they are a high volume customer, that is nowhere good enough for me.  I need more information.  I would like to get one as well, but am an not convinced that these are what they are purported to be.
