Look at his poster with a modern style "Dylan" and an older style "Clapton" signed with the same pen by the same person.

He MUST know these are fake especially with the bargain basement prices. No one is that stupid, right?

I have over 500 Springsteen exemplars and he has NEVER signed like this. The small "with thanks" is also terrrible.  Why? Because it's fake like most of this scammers other stuff.

This one fake too? IMG_9414.jpg

THIS ONE FAKE TOO???

Yes, fake. Why not send any of your disputed rock and roll items to either PSA, JSA, Beckett, or Epperson?  You won't because they will all be deemed forgeries. You're not fooling anyone -- especially the 100's of knowledgeable members on this site. Keep trying though -- it's entertaining.

+2. Again, the Beatles sheet music is the most expensive item in your store. Why put up exemplars to try to convince potential buyers that it’s authentic rather than having what would be a very desirable item authenticated?

Why do you avoid the potential increased return by not having these authenticated by the appropriate parties?

Authentically signed Bowie CD's bring nearly twice (or more, depending on title and when, where and how signed) what you are asking in a Buy it Now ($373.50) with free shipping. Why sell so low if so strong?

Here is mine signed at Bengans Skivbutik, September 13th, 2002 in Gothenburg, Sweden and it is definitely not $375. I include a photo from that day along with a color promotional portrait by Frank W. Ockenfels III.

Eric, Very interesting. I've always seen History For Sale as an overpriced mixed bag for my specific tastes. Just looking at their Dan Aykroyd stuff for example, I only see 2 that are real. They must not solely research their signatures based on 100% proven in person examples and may take cues from TPA examples which can lead to trouble like this authenticated secretarial version of Dan shown below. I was not aware they will pull autographs if given a case to do so. Either way, just like any source, you can't put complete faith in them without knowing your subject and doing your own research. John Freeman cant assume they are a be all end all guaranteed source to base an entire collection on, and I'm not going to waste my effort going off topic to prove why HFS items are not all authentic

Hi Jason,

Well, that is where the experience and knowledge we covet comes into play. And, the "Make-an-Offer" things works, if one is reasonable. As you would agree, there is no single infallible source. Even PSA Facts pages contain many errors as we know. I too would rather discuss John's "problematic" stock then random HFS items.
