Wow, congrats! It looks good to me too.
I moved this to the Hendrix forum.
If they look good to Roger they probably are good but I wouldn't say they are entirely typical. I've never seen Jimi write "Bro" but that doesn't mean a lot (assuming people even said "Bro" back in the 60s) and the surnames of Hendrix and Redding are not the most typical I've seen (unusually angular in the first case and unusually straight in the second) but I haven't gone back to check the usual exemplar sources. Being somewhat atypical is often a good sign of course.
"Bro" began moving beyond a simple written abbreviation into a colloquial form of address, often associated with African American vernacular English in the 1950's and 60's, and appearing in literature and films like Corner Boy in 1957. In 1957 Hendrix was still in school in Seattle. He saw Elvis on September 1, 1957. Hendrix started with the Velvetones in late 1958 or 1959.
Thanks Eric. In Switzerland the term has only just taken off. It is used incredibly often by certain types of youngster. It seems to appear in almost every sentence I hear on the bus and sometimes multiple times in a single sentence. First names have gone out of fashion amongst some youths because of it.
