I would appreciate any feedback. I dont want to influence anyone by saying what auction house it came from. It does have a COA however it is not PSA or JSA

From all of the PSA Audrey autographs that are authenticated - I can see several letters that match up exactly, however no 2 signatures are exactly the same.

Also worth noting - it would seem to be much harder to fake the entire message: "with warmest thanks and love"

Thank you for your time!

Hi David. I believe this is genuine. The only thing that gives me pause is I would expect this to have been personalized.

Good point Joe - Thank you for your input -

This one wouldn't be for me. Too many atypical letter formations (e.g. the "y" in Audrey) and the slant/spacing of the letters doesn't look right in the Audrey. Strangely, tbe inscription looks better, though I don't remember seeing her writing "love" at the end of the inscription, and I agree with Joe that such a warm inscription would normally be personalised - or perhaps even be signed only with the first name.

Although this may not be a valid concern I would also always be a bit more cautious about autographs on items with great eye appeal. I think this is is the Tiffany's soundtrack cover. If it is, I would be even more cautious as that is a very desirable piece.

I haven't gone back through the various Audrey threads so I am just going from memory and "gut feel" here.

One last point, you might be better off posting this in the "Authenticity Opinions" category.

I also am not quite comfortable here - the execution/ flavor seems off.

Thank you for looking -

Thank you for your inpuit!

I too would also have expected such a fullsome message to have been personalised  and there are     atypical letter formations as others have pointed out.  Beautiful photo though

This is a very valid and observant point!

I can only say if this is a forgery it is a very good forgery. I agree with pug that the inscription writing is more convincing that the signature itself. And it was signed in a very unrushed situation. I would be completely convinced it is authentic if there included a personalization to someone(possibly removed?).

I still stand this may well be signed by Audrey. Just my humble opinion.

Thanks Joe - I think it that if one were going to fake, they wouldn't risk writing an inscription plus the autograph. I have seen variations of slating so not too concerned about that - I sent off to PSA  on Sat the (4/13) so stay tuned - Thanks for your opinion :)

That is precisely why I would expect it done. RE Certification, 50% or more of that TPG's Gleason exemplars online are just secretarials or forgeries  - I hope they are better with Hepburn. I don't deal with them.

I would not say that PSA or any of the other services are the end all of opinions. Although they are accepted as the gospel in the marketplace. If your intent is to sell this signed photo it will definitely help. But if this piece is for your personal collection then enjoy it regardless. Hope this works out for you.
