Mine still haven't arrived yet (I'm uk based) also the tracking no they gave me doesn't even work I wish I'd paid with paypal or a credit card I'd open a dispute about now

Has anyone else filed a claim through Paypal, and been told to return it for a refund?

I filed a "Not as described" claim in the PayPal resolution center, and they're now saying to return the item by the 23rd for  a refund - but it looks like I need to pay my own postage to MusicToday which is annoying to say the least.

Same here, and it needs to be sent back with verified tracking at your cost, right? PayPal sucks just as bad as Musictoday and Ozzy Corp. I gave PayPal a piece of my mind and considered filing a claim with my credit card company to get a full refund, but at this point I don’t care enough to spend any more time on this. The rats have been outed. Thanks to everyone here for helping with that. “Ordinary Man” my a$$. An ordinary man signs his own name.

I got the same response from PayPal. Return on my dime by the 22nd. So I went on PP's website and hit contact. They are not doing phones right now but had messenger. I gave them my PP dispute # and then went off. Letting them know that I am not even allowed by Michigans orders to go to the post office as of now. And made it quite known that they were fakes and I was not returning the cd. That Sony could come and get them. I attached a couple of links showing Sharon sent out autopens sold as authentic autographs and it was fraud on their end.  And that I wasn't going to do anything on my end other than hand it to the postal worker if they chose to pick it up since none of it was my fault. BTW nobody ever actually came online to talk to me. I just kept leaving more and more reasons in my favor and eventually went offline.

But I got this today:

Case closed in your favor
We reviewed the case you filed on April 10, 2020 and have decided in your favor.
We've issued a refund of $23.18 USD to you. It may take up to 5 days for this refund to be reflected on your PayPal account or bank. If you paid using a credit or debit card, the money will be refunded to your card. Depending on your card issuer, it can take up to 30 days for the refund to appear on your card statement.
Dispute case ID PP-D-61338351

Thanks for the suggestion/idea. I was planning on just having to eat the cost of return shipping (~$8), and may still have to, but tried contacting them through the messager thing like you did.

When did you message them - or I guess approx. how long was it between you messaging them, and them deciding in your favor?

I did it yesterday afternoon and got the refund email this morning before I even got up.

Well I definitely didn't have the success that you did, that's disappointing.

"Thank you for contacting PayPal Messaging. The merchandise will need to be returned in order to receive a refund for this transaction. As a payment processor we are unable to force a seller to pay for return shipping, we can only refund the original amount of the transaction once the items have been returned..."

Hey Ken, I noticed that Randy Mac with NBC LA made a comment to you on twitter about submitting a complaint through their website. Did you take him up on his offer?

In fake sales due to offering signed cds. Divide that number by 4 at minimum. But probably less since most people dont even buy cds these days. But scamming fans to get your numbers up no big deal.

I received my refund today anybody else
