Babe Ruth personalized, non-official baseball sells for $12,000

Well, $11,999.95 to be exact. I was a little surprised (the ball is nice, though I have seen even bolder authentic Ruth's) by this but glad nonetheless, since I too have a nice personalized Ruth.

There are a lot of forgeries, no doubt. But this one looks good to me.

It might be a Goudey, although a PSA 10 Goudey might go for even more. It's crazy money, although nothing like the multi-million dollar Honus Wagner card.
